What Constitutes a Result?

In the case of crimeshoe.com a Result is either a positive identification of the shoe print that you have submitted to crimeshoe, a tentative identification of said print, or information that is directly relevant to the print.

All crimeshoe reports are classed as either 'Match Found' or 'Information'.

Match Found = The print that you have submitted has been positively identified and matched with footwear in our database. Your report will feature Brand and Model information on the matching footwear together with multiple images. In cases where a print matches more than one brand/model of footwear in our database, Brand and Model information together with images will be available for each matching item of footwear.

Information = While we have been unable to provide a direct match to a shoe in our database we are able to supply relevant information on the print that you have submitted. This may include details on the Brand or style of footwear that may have created the print that you submitted.

The ultimate goal of crimeshoe.com is to provide accurate and effective forensic evidence to our users. While crimeshoe.com reserves the right to ascertain what constitutes a "Result" we do not discourage customers from contacting us regarding this matter.
